About DKM Embroidery

DKM Embroidery was formed in 1996 by Deborah and Ronald Mattox to service new businesses with custom decorated apparel. Both Deborah and Ron have been in the apparel business since 1972, producing apparel for public and private schools, colleges, and major retailers such as JC Penney and Macy's. Many of the skills learned during the past 25 years are now being made available to the local market.

Since our early days, we have strived to grow and be able to provide additional services for our customers. For example, our first embroidery machine operated out of a garage. Today, we proudly have a facility with 20,000 square feet of manufacturing.

Our embroidery department now operates over 70+ heads of embroidery, along with an integrated bridge laser that operates over 28 heads of embroidery. We also operate 4 heads of chenille. Screen print has grown to include both a 14 color and 12 color automatic press, along with a few manual presses for short run jobs. Our prepress department moved away from vellum and film in 2008. We currently use direct-to-screen technology to prep our screens for imaging.

Since 2000, we have worked on developing numerous relationships with overseas suppliers, which allow us to offer custom-made caps and embroidered emblems. In 2012, we expanded into advertising specialties, allowing us to provide marketing materials that we don’t produce in house.
